Smaller images. Nothing uploaded.
Drop your photos and screenshots. Compress them, resize them or switch format, then download each file or one ZIP. Everything happens in your browser, so your images never leave your computer.
Three steps, no account
JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF, one or many.
Move the quality slider, set a maximum width, pick a format, or type a target size.
Check the previews and sizes, then save single files or one ZIP.
Private by design
Photos can show your home, your documents and your location. This page reads them inside your browser tab. There is no upload step, no login and no server that sees the files. Closing the tab releases this page's references; downloaded files remain. This is not secure erasure.
Honest limits
It reads JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF and HEIC (iPhone photos) and writes JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF. No animated images, no HEIC output. Camera details and GPS location are removed unless you tick the keep option (JPG to JPG only). Colours are converted to sRGB. Lossy formats lose some detail, so keep your originals. AVIF takes longer to encode.
No image limit. Works offline.
- The free page handles 25 images at a time. The pack removes that limit.
- One folder you keep. Open index.html in a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. No install, no account, no internet needed.
- Same private tool: images never leave your computer.
- One-time price, no subscription.
Straight answers
Are my images uploaded?
No. Decoding, resizing and compression run in your browser. There is no upload step and no server that receives the files. The hosted page loads local codec assets when you first use a format, so opening the page alone does not guarantee offline use. The separate offline pack includes all assets.
Which formats does it read and write?
It reads JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF and HEIC (iPhone photos) and writes JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF. AVIF input needs a browser that can display AVIF. GIF, SVG, RAW and animated images are not supported, and it cannot write HEIC.
Will quality drop?
JPG, WebP and AVIF are lossy: smaller files mean some lost detail. Move the quality slider and judge the preview. PNG at 100 is lossless. Always keep your originals.
What happens to EXIF data and GPS location?
It is removed by default, because each image is redrawn and re-encoded. That is helpful before sharing a photo. If you want it kept for JPG files, tick the keep option and the camera details and location are copied over. Colours are converted to sRGB, the standard for web and email.
What is the target size option?
Enter a size such as 100 KB. For JPG, WebP and AVIF the tool finds the highest quality that fits. If it cannot fit, it can reduce the pixel size in steps. PNG uses fewer colours.
What does the free version limit?
It processes 25 images at a time. The offline pack has no image limit and runs from a folder on your computer with no internet.
Is there a size limit per image?
Images over 50 megapixels are skipped. Very large images may be slow or run out of memory on phones, and AVIF is the slowest format.
