Sign a PDF. No upload.
Draw, type or upload your signature, place it on the page, add the date or text, and save the signed PDF. The document never leaves your device.
Why people use it
The code runs in this page. There is no server that receives your PDFs. The hosted page may load tool files when needed. Use the separate offline pack for reliable disconnected operation.
Run as many jobs as you like. The only free limit is 100 pages in one output file.
Merge, split by range, extract pages, reorder and rotate with thumbnails, images to PDF, page numbers, compress scans, clear document-info metadata, watermark, unlock and protect, PDF to JPG.
No page limit. Works offline.
- The free page produces up to 100 pages per output file. The pack removes that limit.
- One folder you keep. Open index.html in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. No install, no account, no subscription.
- Good for work with confidential documents, on a plane or on a locked-down network.
Questions
Is this signature legally binding?
The tool places a signature image, typed text or a date on a page. It does not create a digital certificate or a signing audit trail. Whether that is enough for a given document depends on the document and where you are, so check with the other party.
Can I fill in other text on the form?
Yes, you can add text and a date anywhere on the page. For PDFs with real form fields, the Fill form fields tab of the PDF Toolkit fills them in.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The file is read and changed by code running in this page. Nothing is sent to a server, so contracts, IDs and bank statements stay on your device. The hosted page may load tool files when needed. Use the separate offline pack for reliable disconnected operation.
What are the limits?
The free page makes up to 100 pages per output file, and everything runs in your browser memory, so a file of several hundred MB may be slow or fail. The offline pack removes the page limit.
