Questions
Is my data uploaded?
No. The PDF is built in this page on your device and nothing is sent anywhere. Nothing is kept after you close the page unless you choose to save a client, item, recurring template or your business details. Saved data is not encrypted and can be read by someone using this browser profile. Those saves stay in this browser on this device only, and clearing the site data removes them.
Is the invoice legally compliant in my country?
The tool lays out the numbers you enter. It does not check tax law, e-invoicing rules or required wording for any country. Check your local requirements.
How is tax calculated?
Each line can have its own rate, or leave it blank to use the default. Discounts are shared across lines in proportion. With "prices include tax", the tax is taken out of the price instead of added. Amounts are rounded per tax rate.
Which languages and characters work?
Labels come in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Hebrew (right to left). Names and descriptions can use Latin, Greek, Cyrillic and Hebrew characters. Other scripts such as Arabic or Chinese are not supported in the PDF and show as ?.
How do saved clients, items and recurring invoices work?
Save a client from the Bill to box, save a line with its star, and pick them again later from the lists. A recurring template stores a whole invoice. Loading it moves the saved number up by one, sets the date to today and moves the due date by the same number of days. Repeated loads use the same saved number unless you save the updated template. Check that each invoice number is unique. It does not send or schedule anything: you open it each time you bill. Saved data lives only in this browser on this device, so it does not follow you to another computer or browser. Logos are not saved.
What does the payment QR code do?
Type a payment link or any short text and the PDF prints it as a QR code with a Scan to pay label. The tool does not create payment pages, check the link or take payments. Test the code with your phone before you send the invoice.
Can I change how the invoice looks?
Yes. Pick Classic, Modern or Minimal, plus an accent colour and an optional logo.
Can I make a quote or a receipt?
Yes. Pick the document type. A quote shows a valid until date. For a receipt, enter only the goods or services actually paid for; the receipt total is the amount received. The amount already paid field applies to invoices only.
