How to turn PDF pages into JPG or PNG images, offline

Pick the format

JPG is smaller and good for photos and scans. PNG keeps text edges sharp and suits screenshots and line art.

Pick the resolution

150 dpi suits screens and email. Use 300 dpi for print. Higher resolutions make larger files and take longer.

Choose pages

Leave the pages box empty for all pages, or enter ranges such as 1-3,5. Several pages come in one ZIP.

Scanned documents

The images show the page exactly as scanned. To get editable text from them, use the OCR Toolkit.
