The list is done: names, roles, companies, ticket types. The only thing between you and badges is a mail merge that was designed in another decade. There is a shorter path.
Name, role, company, category. That is all a badge needs. Export or copy those columns from your registration tool - Eventbrite, Sheets, Excel, a CRM export all work.
The generator reads one attendee per line, comma or tab separated, with or without a header row. Copy the cells straight out of the spreadsheet and paste them in. No data-source wizard, no field mapping.
Sort your list by name length before you paste. The longest name sets the mood: auto-shrink keeps it on one line, but if one name is very long it will print small. Consider a short badge name for that person.
One plain-paper sheet first, checked against the real inserts. Then the batch. Cardstock if you are skipping holders; plain paper is fine inside vinyl.
The free generator makes 5 badge PDFs a day, with no signup and no upload.
