Trim a video in your browser without uploading it

To cut the start or end off a video you do not need an editor or an upload. Choose the start and end and the page writes a new MP4.

How to trim

1. Open the Video Compressor and choose your video.
2. Play the preview, pause where you want the cut and press "Start trim here" or "End trim here". You can also type seconds.
3. Press Compress and download.

Good to know

• The trimmed video is re-encoded, so the cut starts at the first decoded frame at or after your chosen time.
• This cuts the beginning and end of one clip. It does not join clips or edit the middle.
• The free version handles up to 5 minutes (files up to 500 MB) per run.
