Turn a Teachable transactions CSV into monthly totals, refunds and earnings.
Drop in the transactions CSV you export from Teachable. See each month by payment method: net charge, tax, refunds, author and affiliate fees, net revenue and earnings. Chargebacks are kept apart. The pack adds a clean transactions CSV and a month totals CSV. Nothing is uploaded.
Tested only on made-up files, never on a real Teachable export. Column names and the YYYY-MM-DD date come from Teachable's help page for the transaction report, and Net Charge USD, Net Revenue USD and Earnings USD are documented as USD. Teachable does not say which currency Listed Price, tax, Amount Refunded, Author Fees and Affiliate Fees are in, so they are shown as written under USD. Teachable does not document a formula tying the columns together or how refunds and chargebacks are signed, so nothing is checked and amounts are summed as written. Buyer names, emails, tax IDs and addresses are never read. This is not tax advice.
Set these to match your files before you drop them. Nothing is guessed. Limits: 20 files, 40 MB each, 200 MB in total, 60,000 rows per file and 300,000 in total.
What it does
Checks the report columns, the YYYY-MM-DD dates and every amount. A bad row stops the file with its row number.
Net charge, tax, refunds, author and affiliate fees, net revenue and earnings for every month, split by payment method and the chargeback value Teachable wrote.
The pack adds a transactions CSV and a month totals CSV you can open in any spreadsheet.

Questions
Which file do I use?
In your Teachable school admin, open Sales, then Transactions, and choose Export CSV. The primary owner receives the CSV by email. Drop one or many.
Why are there settings?
The number style and text encoding are not declared by the file, so you tell the tool. Nothing is guessed. The date style is documented, so it is not a setting.
Why is there no earnings check?
Teachable explains each column but publishes no formula that ties them together, and does not say how refunds and chargebacks are signed. So the tool adds each column as written and does not decide whether a row is income or a cost.
Where are refunds?
Teachable puts the refund on the purchase row (Amount Refunded, Refunded At). The tool keeps it in the purchase month, as written, and does not split refunds into their own month.
