Questions
Which characters can I use?
Letters used in Western European languages, digits and common punctuation, the euro sign and common typographic dashes and quotes. If you type anything the PDF font cannot write, the tool tells you which character and stops. It never swaps characters for you.
How is tax worked out?
Each line amount is quantity times unit price, rounded to the smallest currency unit. Tax for the line is that amount times the rate, rounded the same way. Tax by rate is the sum of the line taxes. Check that this matches how your country wants it done.
Can I add a discount?
Add a line with a negative unit price, for example a unit price of -20.00 with the description "Discount".
Is my data saved?
Only if you press a save button. Saved details, clients and items stay in this browser on this computer, and nothing is sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes them. For a copy you control, use Save invoice file.
How does the next invoice button work?
It adds 1 to the last number in the invoice number (INV-0042 becomes INV-0043), sets the issue date to today, keeps the same number of days until due, and clears the amount paid. Your lines stay. Check them before you make the PDF.
Are the translations checked?
The labels were translated by an AI and not reviewed by a native speaker. Read your PDF once before you send it. Your own text is never translated.
What currencies work?
Any 3-letter ISO currency code. Amounts are written with the code in the column heading and the right number of decimals for that currency.
