Turn a ledger CSV into a French FEC file with the entries checked first.
Upload a general ledger export, say which column is which, and get a Fichier des Écritures Comptables with the 18 fields in the order the arrêté lists them. Entries are numbered in one continuous sequence, every entry is checked to balance to the cent, and dates, amounts and account numbers are checked against the published rules. Nothing you upload is sent anywhere.
This tool writes a flat FEC file with the 18 fields of article A.47 A-1 du livre des procédures fiscales and checks the format rules. The checks are ported from the published DGFiP Test-Compta-Demat rules. This is not that tester and it was not run on your file, so test the file in Test-Compta-Demat before you hand it over. It does not check your chart of accounts, your opening balances or whether the ledger is complete. It gives no tax or accounting advice. Ask your expert-comptable if you are unsure.

What it covers
- Flat FEC: header line with the 18 field names, one line per ledger line, separated by a tab or a pipe, ISO 8859-15, CR/LF, dates as AAAAMMJJ, amounts with a comma and two decimals and no thousands separator.
- Entries are grouped by your entry key, numbered 1, 2, 3 and so on, and ordered by validation date. Entries from the opening journal you name go first.
- Checks: every entry balances, one journal and one date per entry, dates inside the exercise, debit or credit but not both, account numbers start with three digits, SIREN check digit, characters that do not fit are refused and never changed.
- Not covered: the montant and sens variant, extra fields after the 18, XML FEC, signing or sending to the tax office.
