Checkout.com Payouts Summary - preview, not yet checked on real exports

Turn Checkout.com Payouts Report CSVs into monthly totals per currency, with every fee column.

Drop in the Payouts Report CSVs from Checkout.com. See each month and holding currency with the total of Payout Amount, payments, refunds, chargebacks and every fee column, added up exactly as written, up to 8 decimals. The pack adds a payouts CSV and a monthly CSV. Nothing is uploaded.

Tested only on made-up files and on the sample Payouts Report Checkout.com publishes, never on a real merchant report. Column names and the ISO date layout come from the Payouts Report documentation. Only the Payouts Report is read, not the Settlement Breakdown. Nothing is checked and amounts are summed as written. Entity names, currency account names and bank details are never read. This is not tax advice.

Set these to match your files before you drop them. Nothing is guessed. Limits: 20 files, 40 MB each, 200 MB in total, 60,000 rows per file and 300,000 in total.

Drop your Checkout.com Payouts Report CSV here, or click to chooseOne CSV per entity and period. Several files at once are fine.

What it does

Read

Finds the documented columns by header name and checks the dates, currencies and every amount. A bad row stops the file with its row number.

Summarize

Every documented amount column totalled for each month and holding currency. Columns that total zero are hidden.

Hand over

The pack adds a payouts CSV and a monthly CSV you can open in any spreadsheet.

Offline pack

Questions

Which file do I use?

The Payouts Report. Checkout.com says it has one row per payout from a sub-account and can be generated daily, weekly or monthly, from the Dashboard, API or SFTP. It is a different report from the Settlement Breakdown report.

Which dates does it accept?

Payout Date, Reporting Start Date and Reporting End Date as yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ss with optional fractions, like 2022-11-16T02:00:33.713, as in Checkout.com's sample. The month is the month written in the Payout Date. Other layouts stop with the row number.

Why up to 8 decimals?

Checkout.com says amounts have fixed-point notation with up to eight decimal places, and its sample has amounts such as -0.1900797. The tool keeps all of them, so nothing is rounded before you see it.

What if my file has other columns?

Optional fields are enabled by Checkout.com on request. Columns that are in the documented list are totalled. Any other column is named in a warning and is not read.

What counts as a repeat?

The same Payout ID, Holding Currency, Currency Account ID and Payout Date, for example when daily and monthly reports overlap. Repeats are counted, not removed, and the downloads wait until you tick the box.
