Turn Braintree disbursement report CSVs into totals per transfer, record type and subtype.
Drop in the Disbursement Reconciliation report CSVs from Braintree. See each bank transfer by Record Type and Subtype: sales, refunds, disputes, fees and adjustments, added up exactly as written, one group per Transfer ID. The pack adds a rows CSV and a transfer totals CSV. Nothing is uploaded.
Tested only on made-up files and on the sample CSV that Braintree publishes, never on a real merchant report. Braintree's documents describe more than one layout of this report, so the tool finds columns by their header names and refuses a file that lacks the Record Type, Created At and a currency column. The detail (RD) rows are read; summary (RS) rows are not. Nothing is checked against your bank deposit and amounts are summed as written. Customer names, card details, tokens and merchant references are never read. This is not tax advice.
Set these to match your files before you drop them. Nothing is guessed. Limits: 20 files, 40 MB each, 200 MB in total, 60,000 rows per file and 300,000 in total.
What it does
Finds the documented columns by header name and checks the dates, currencies and every amount. A bad row stops the file with its row number.
Rows and each amount column for every transfer, split by Record Type and Subtype, with the amounts and fees in the currency the file gives.
The pack adds a rows CSV and a transfer totals CSV you can open in any spreadsheet.

Questions
Which file do I use?
The Disbursement Reconciliation report that Braintree sends with your bank deposits. It is one CSV with header (RH), detail (RD) and footer (RF) lines. Drop one or many.
What does it read?
Every RD row: Record Type, Record Subtype, Transfer ID, the two currencies and the amount and fee columns that are in your file, such as Gross Transaction Amount, Total Net Fees, Net Transaction Amount and Settlement Amount. Amounts in the transaction currency and in the settlement currency stay in separate groups when the two differ.
Which dates does it accept?
Created At as 2025-07-29 16:35:23 +0100 or 2025-07-29T16:35:23Z. The tool shows the date as written and does not change time zones. Other layouts stop with the row number.
Why no checks?
Braintree documents signs, but the tool adds each column as written and does not compare anything with your bank deposit. It also never adds different currencies together.
What counts as a repeat?
The same merchant account, Transfer ID, Record ID, Record Type, Subtype and Created At. Repeats are counted, not removed, and the downloads wait until you tick the box.
